Basically I want to slope my terrain like the way it’s slanted in this picture. I’ve tried using a gradient as the shaping guide of an advanced perlin with no luck.
Also, off topic but possibly related, where is the scatter device? I can’t find it! :?
Do you own the DEV version of world machine?
Because it has an example file with exactly this terrain as a final result. It does uses the “Instance Scattering” device. Which is only in the DEV version at the moment, among the “Converter” devices.
I am not near my pc at the moment so i just throw in a guess. You could try to mimic the scatter device. The gradiant as the base is good. Use multiple wide radial grad and scatter them manually to mask high points. Combine those radials together and add a weak advanced perlin for some noise. Combine this with the gradiant and also use the noisy radials as mask. The combine device might have to be on the power option. Or try all of them. You might have to use the clamp to raise the ground a bit because of the height difference in the gradiant device. After that, erison device. Like i wrote i cant test this at the moment so this is just an idea what might not work. Will check it later though.
