How do I make slopes look more like sedimentary rock deposits both texturally and hightfield wise?

What is a good way to do dunes with the wavey sand? I remember a plugin from back in wm 1 but it wasn’t very good.

any idea on how to make the roads have dashed lines down the middle or is that a job for my photoshop? Trying to reduce post process image editing

Try the terraces device. Otherwise, it’s difficult because heightfields can’t have overhangs.
coloring every layer of sediment different will probably be a good idea.

Is the street more or less a straight line? Would it be possible to derive the street from a layout line with a constant slope (along the line I mean)?

I am looking at doing city-block style grids. So it wouldn’t be a straight line.

If the streets are perfectly perpendicular, it’s still possible. I’ll put together an example.

Hi all, I didn’t see this covered in the manual and after fiddling with it endlessly I thought I’d break down and ask…

I simply want to create an extent or modify the existing ones to output a grid whose x and y scaling is from 0 to 100 (or better yet -50 to 50). But no matter what I do it insists on giving me numbers in the range of 1 to 12.5. How can I make this happen?
