I am looking for a way (if there is one) to import 4 png´s (real world data) and join them to one single map in WM.
The catch is, they are not tiling, but got overlap at the sides/edges.
Is there a function that can analyze the situation and move / join the 4 images together (at overlap/identical height-values)???
Would be cool, if this could be solved in WM somehow!
Thanks for the offer, but I think it will not work with the data, I got.
I manage to merge some of the heightmaps, but some of the maps seem to be “lifted”.
You can see the line/borders of them, so you can not make them fit. Maybe something is corrupted or it´s something
build in the site, where I donwloaded, so you can not put them maps together… hmmmm.
Really strange, some maps work, some do not. Some share the same overlap area, but when you move them to be
congruent, you get seams and in WM, one terrain patch is higher than the other… dont know, how to explain
