Hello there,
I have made a mountain pack for the Unreal Engine 4 marketplace using my WM2 Pro. Some users asked if I could include tutorials for them. My question is whether I can include the .tmd files for them in the package or not. Since it’s a product for sale I thought I’d ask for permission. Though I’m not charging for the .tmd files those are only for learning purpose of the customer.
I’d appreciate your response.
Thanks.
Hi there,
Yes, with either the Standard or Professional editions, the output may be
used for commercial purposes, including selling terrains or textures in an
asset store.
You are welcome to include a tmd file in your asset bundle; the only relevant restrictions is that your users’ must respect World Machine’s license (that is, if they’re using the TMD for a commercial purpose, they need to be using the Standard or Professional Editions)
Makes sense. To me including the .tmd files in the package looks like if I was sharing my .tmd files with people here on the forums.
Thank you for the clarification.
