hi there,
with “Set Terrain color” one can set the color-pattern for the world - but how to get this colors out to a Bitmap?
I also tried some Marcos, like “Extended Overlap” and something like that… these color-settings could be exported to a bitmap
but how to make these visible in the “F8 3-D View Heighfield”???
Man, I need to setup the color-pattern for a Canyon setting… but going slightly mad here :x

Use a Colorizer device to create a bitmap from a terrain – you can create your own gradients or use the built-in color tables.
Hmmm?
I tried a colorizer before, but I just get a gradient tool and must choose all color-gradients myself.
What I was looking for is an option to just get out the “acid bleached” (or another scheme) 1:1 to a Bitmap-Texture to use this in other programs.
The other tools (Basic-coverage or extended overlay) can color the world, too.
But once again, you have to select when, where, what color is applied…
I want to avoid this – if possible and take over some pre-defined schemes.
Ok, if it is not possible to do so – may you could tell me, how to re-build the “acid bleached” settings in a Basic coverage or gradient tool?
Or do I missing something here? (Sorry, for being noob)

Place a colorizer into your world, and connect its input to your terrain.
Then open the device up – you’ll see the custom gradient area, but on the right side you’ll see a dropbox called Colorizing Method. Change it from “Custom Gradient” to “Use current world colors”. (You could also select Import by colortable and then choose the Acid Bleached World colortable entry in the box below that)
You’ll see the preview for the colorizer now reflects the colors from the basic colortable WM is using!

WOW that is amazing !!!
I wish I had openend my eyes, yesterday
Thank you so much for the hint - seems like I can now go on with my little project
Ok, works like a charm, now!
