Your work resonate with my geologic fetish so much… I am in heaven thinking about those forms lol
here some imagining of the divergent plate boundary, underneath the ocean. The Expander is for sure my favorite node for sculpting, but needs some randomization of the local orientation of those little features that creates.

That’s definitely an excellent use of the Expander!
And an interesting idea - it should be straighforward to add a transform input to the expander, which would allow you to apply a distortion/anisotropy/etc to the forms that it creates and breakup the shapes. I’ll take a peek at this and see if it is as possible as it seems to add.
