Is the layout view in the unregistered version of WM limited, or is this a Linux/Wine bug?

Other places it looks like this, where you can do other things then just move around. Like drawing rivers and other stuff.
I just want know if this is a bug, a problem with wine, just how it is with the unregistered version, of if its something I did wrong, or didn’t do.
o, ye, it also not work for me in Layout View,
only in Explorer View i can see unlimited extent
i guess guides on youtube did use old WM builds
Can you draw rivers in the layout View? Or anywhere for that matter? (EDIT: I just looked at the second screenshot) I do know its a limitation in the unregistered version that you can’t draw rivers in the river device because I booted up windows and installed it and its not there. So at least that is solved.

Hi there,
The layout view changed from showing the “unlimited” explorer world to just the current render extents, as the explorer world is an approximation that often doesn’t match the precise terrain you’re trying to edit.
To draw a river, add a River device to your world, wire the terrain into its input, and double-click it. Then hit A (or go to Global->Add River) and draw your river

Hitting A adds a river/reach but as for a button, there are no buttons in the Layout View to add a river/reach. Its the same on Windows also.
