(Sorry for bad wordage on the title, couldn’t figure out the best way to word it in a small way like that)
Hello, I’ve been thinking purchasing at least the indie version of World Machine. It would help tremendously in a project between myself and 2 friends of mine, however one big question I have (that may be answered somewhere I might just be blind) is.. What is the limitation on the license for the amount of copies/machines/people that use it? Is it possible to buy it, and share it with the 2 other people I am working with?
I’ve also read “A personal licenses may be installed on up to 2 machines so long as no more than one is in use at a time” on the FAQ, however I do not understand if this is 2 people can actively use it, just not at the same exact time, or if it can only be on 1 machine at a time, but it can only be moved once. If anyone can answer this, it would help a lot in figuring out whether to buy it or not!

The per-seat license is intended to be just that. For your convenience, you are allowed to install on two machines at the same time without deactivating one of them first. For example, many users have a desktop and a laptop and this makes that scenario much simpler to deal with.
It is not against the technical terms of the license to deactivate on one machine, and then activate on another as needed. Doing so repeatedly to share a license is against the intended purpose of the two allowed machines per license key… But with that said, there is no specfic prohibition or technical limit that will prevent you from doing so. Just a humble request to support creators who support you.
Cheers!

Just a question, what happens if these 2 machines, lets say accidentally run WM with an activated license at once? I have my laptop connected to my main pc via anydesk and i export from WM from my main pc so there is a possibility that i could accidentally run WM on my main pc while having it open in the background on my laptop
